Located between the Cévennes, Mediterranean and Provence, Nîmes is an exceptional and cultural town with a Hispanic and Roman past, as well as Provençal and Camargue influences. Come and visit the Roman arenas, the Diane Temple and the Maison Carrée, and marvel at the antic tower doorways. The many mansions and religious buildings are referring to a more recent wealth of this city of culture and celebrations. Throuhgout the year ferias and corridas are organised, and you can come and enjoy the temporary bars called bodegas and party with the locals, to the sound of peñas, animated street bands.

At the center of the beautiful region, Domaine La Bastide is the ideal starting point for excursions: visit Avignon, Arles, Uzès (French Tuscany), Camargue, the Cévennes and not forgetting the famous Pont du Gard, an amazing bridge construction or 'aquaduct' left by the Romans.

Campsite La Bastide offers shaded accommodations and camping pitches in a calm and peaceful setting. The waterpark offers 2 heated outdoor pools, 3 slides and 1 paddling pool for children.

On this campsite the Fun Dose is red. This means there is a lot of entertainment! In july and august, we offer the following:

-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children from Monday until Friday, from 10am until 12pm and from 3pm until 5.00pm.

-The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up twice a week.

-We offer evening entertainment 5 nights a week, 4 animators, aqua gym every morning and an almost non-stop super fun day and evening program until midnight!
